ARIB and TTC has been discussed to respond the action item below.

Ø  ARIB/TTC will consider nominating a Chair of the Finance Committee. Their 
decision will be communicated to the SC by mid-August.

On behalf of ARIB and TTC,  I would like to recommend Mr. Tatsuo Takahashi of TTC 
as a candidate for the Chair of the Finance Committee. 
He is a chairman of Funding and Finance group of 3GPP and also a member of OP 
Finance Committee of 3GPP2 and therefore he has a good experience for the task of 
oneM2M Finance Committee. 
 
I believe that he can serve as a chair to complete the assigned work with all of your 
strong support.

You should have received the list of decisions and action items that 
were recorded during last week’s oneM2M SC#1 meeting in Bellevue. 
 
I wanted to draw your attention to the following items that have an 
expected response/due date this month:
 
Ø  The approved oneM2M logo (without the tagline), shown in SC-
20120724-023, may be used immediately. The logo, without a tagline, can 
be obtained by contacting Gerry McAuley or Victoria Gray at ETSI. The 
“Better Together” tagline has been withdrawn. A new tagline will be 
sought and the approval/adoption process will resume.  Comments on 
the guidelines for use of the logo are to be provided to the SC by 10 
August 2012.
 
Ø  ARIB/TTC will consider nominating a Chair of the Finance Committee. 
Their decision will be communicated to the SC by mid-August.
 
Ø  With regards to the voting rights and how to establish presence at 
an electronic or hybrid (face-to-face and electronic) meeting, each 
delegation shall review SC-20120724-043, Presence & Voting Rights, and 
provide input via the SC reflector by 10 August 2012.
 
All of the contributions noted above, as well as the decisions/action 
items list, are attached for your convenience.
 
FYI…the meeting summary, in its entirety, will be distributed next week.
